Following is a list of songs that are truly my own. When I say that, I mean that I wrote and arranged the song from scratch, played the instruments while recording, mixed and mastered the final sound... everything. I must admit that it is a computer generated sound for the drums because I don't have a drum kit, but I am still the one who wrote the drum track as it appears.

• Open Road--Inspired by all the road trips I've ever taken.
• Payback--Still a work in progress; all instruments are computer generated right now, but I have recently gotten the itch to do some recording again and this song is near the top of the list of ones that are ready to go.
• Faded Picture--This is about a soldier who comes home from war. A total wreck, he drives away everyone with substance abuse, judgmentalism and general hostility. If you're looking for a happy song, this isn't it. This is the song I am most proud of, even if I *did* do some singing. Please don't judge me on my voice; I am an instrumentalist, not a singer. :)

I have also been part of some projects with my good friend Jer. He's a great guitarist and also great with recording equipment. He's always working on some recording project or another and has honored me with the opportunity to participate in a couple of cover songs.

Jer did all the post-recording production work on these songs. For those who don't know, it's not just sitting down with a guitar (bass, mic, whatever) and pressing the "Record" button and then it's done. It takes a lot of work behind the scenes mixing everything to make it sound right and a whole bunch of technical stuff that Jer knows all about and I only know a little bit about, so if you want to know more, ask him; he's the expert.

Desert Plains is a song by Judas Preist from their album Point of Entry, released in 1981. For this cover version, I am playing the rhythm guitar you can hear coming from the right side and Jer is the rhythm guitar from the left side. Jer's friend Mark did the lead guitar and the vocals are done by a friend of Jer's from an online guitar forum. The drums and bass were done by computer.

The God That Failed is a song by Metallica from their album Metallica, released in 1991. For this cover version, I am playing bass and Jer is playing all rhythm guitars. Lead guitar is played by Jer's friend Mark again and the vocals are done by another (different) friend of Jer's from an online guitar forum. Drums are done by computer as before.

If anyone knows of a singer who is looking for a project to work on, please let me know. I would rather not inflict my voice on anyone in more projects than I have to... I'm also interested in finding a drummer, so the same goes for drummers. I have the computer doing my drumming in the meantime.
